Engineering and manufacturing company, Craftsman Automation, will set up a new greenfield plant in RIICO Industrial Area Salarpur, Bhiwadi in Rajasthan. The Coimbatore-based firm plans to invest Rs 150 crore for the manufacture of aluminium products in the first phase, and other products from its three verticals in the second phase as per business requirements.
The strategic investment for the facility will allow it to capitalise on the large and growing business opportunities in the North, primarily for ‘Make in India’. The greenfield unit, together with its unit at Faridabad, will allow it to emerge its presence in North India and prove to be a business driver over the coming years.
Principal Secretary to Rajasthan Government, Department of Industries, Ajitabh Sharma, stated that the state will support the company with Rajasthan’s investment promotion schemes, financing, incentive schemes and other benefits. The company looks forward to be a part of ‘Grow with Rajasthan’ and will make this plant operational in the next 12 months timeframe.
Craftsman Automation’s three verticals include automotive, powertrain & others, automotive-aluminium products, and Industrial and Engineering.
