The Rail Land Development Authority (RLDA) is redeveloping Charbagh Railway Station (LKO-NR) and adjoining land parcels in Lucknow district of Uttar Pradesh. To take the project plan forward, RLDA signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with NBCC India in July 2018
A few months later, an order worth Rs 538.76 crore was awarded to Ahluwalia Contracts (India) to execute the project on engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) basis
The recent updates indicate speedy progress on the project. Work was recently commenced with completion set by November 2020
