Godrej Tyson Foods Limited, a joint venture of Tyson Foods, USA, and Godrej Agrovet Limited, has decided to invest Rs 55 crore in upcoming Mega Food Park at Ladhowal, Ludhiana, where the company will set up a ready-to-cook and ready-to-eat food processing unit over five acres
The unit will procure potato, baby corn, carrot and other vegetables from local market. The plant will be commissioned by December, 2016. The unit shall generate employment for over 150 persons
Kahan Singh Pannu, managing director, Punjab Agro Industries Corporation, said the corporation had already given letter of intent (LoI) to the company for allotment of five acres of land to set up unit in the 100 acre mega food park
