The National Dairy Development Board (NDDB) has sanctioned 42 sub-projects with a total outlay of Rs 22,102.72 lakh in twelve states (namely Bihar, Gujarat, Haryana, Karnataka, Madhya Pradesh, Maharashtra, Orissa, Punjab, Tamil Nadu, Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand and West Bengal) under the first phase of the National Dairy Plan (NDP-I), which was launched in March 2012 for implementation between 2011-12 and 2016-17
